Virginia stuns No. 8 Florida State in double OT showdown | UVA upsets FSU
Virginia prevails 2OT over Florida State after end-zone bobble
Chandler Morris powered Virginia to a dramatic 46-38 double overtime victory over No. 8 Florida State on Friday night, delivering UVA its first home win versus a top-10 opponent since 2005.
Morris rushed for three touchdowns and threw two more, while Trell Harris caught the decisive 2-point conversion. Florida State had one final chance, but a pass was bobbled near the goal line by Duce Robinson and, on fourth down, Tommy Castellanos’ throw was intercepted by Ja’son Prevard — triggering a wild storming of the field.
With the win, UVA improves to 4-1 (2-0 ACC), while FSU falls to 3-1 (0-1 ACC).
